THE GOOD The Vapor Air Zoom Vapor Cage 4 is built to last with Nike integrating durable rubber and tough plastic in high-wear areas. The Vapor Cage 4 features responsive cushioning with the Zoom Air unit beneath your forefoot creating a springy sensation with every step. The shoe also provides a much more comfortable, less constricting feel. The Vapor 4 has a very supportive fit thanks to unique lacing that wraps around your foot. It’s wide toe box makes this shoe ideal for people with normal to wide feet. The outsole also comes with a 6-month warranty.
Nate Walroth: This is the best Nike shoe to hit the market in some time. The Cage 4 is extremely durable and comfortable on-court due to the extra space and added padding/cushion. The lip on the heel of the shoe seems to give more stability and balance during competition. Also, there are some great colorways.
THE BAD Earlier we mentioned the Nike Air Zoom Vapor Cage 4 has a wide toe box, making it ideal for players with normal to wide feet. The extra-wide toe box also means most people will need to go down a half-size. The snug fit can also lead to some heel rub.
Nate Walroth: The only downside of this shoe being built on durability and comfort is the additional weight those features add. The Cage 4 is slightly heavier than I normally like, but the trade off is a top performance, lasting shoe.

The larger toe box and unique lacing that wraps around your foot provide an extremely comfortable fit that holds up even during the most competitive matches. Overall, this shoe is one of Nike’s best when it comes to a nice balance of comfort and performance.
Nate Walroth: Overall this is a great shoe, especially for players who put a lot of stress on their footwear during play. Aggressive movers (slide, drag, jumping) will enjoy the added protective cushion/padding. The extra room in the toe box is significant and makes it a competitive substitute for Barricade fans.
